Description

Ultrasonic technology produces an acoustic wind effect ahead of the probe without gas displacement. By focusing the emitted acoustic waves, the probe generates a pressure field at a distance of several centimeters.

The resulting pressure field is sufficiently powerful to detach particles suspended in a gas or present on a surface, without introducing air or any external gas.

Our ultrasonic defoaming system minimizes foam formation in bottles and cans during packaging, creating denser, more compact foam inside the container and enabling substantial improvements in efficiency and productivity.

Suitable Markets: Dairy, cheese plants, soft drinks

Advantages of Using a Defoamer in the Dairy Industry

1. Higher Filling Speeds & Increased Throughput

Foam limits how fast bottles can be filled. By eliminating foam at the point of filling, a defoamer allows:

  • Faster filling speeds
  • Higher line efficiency
  • Increased overall production capacity
2. Reduced Product Losses & Rejects

Foam causes overflows, inaccurate fill levels, and spillage. A defoamer:

  • Minimizes milk losses
  • Reduces underfilled and overfilled bottles
  • Lowers reject rates
3. Improved Hygiene & Food Safety

Foam can contaminate critical areas such as:

  • Bottle necks
  • Lids and caps
  • Sealing surfaces
Defoaming prevents splashing and overflow, resulting in:
  • Cleaner closures
  • Reduced contamination risks
  • Improved microbiological safety
4. Better Product Quality & Consistency

Excess foam leads to inconsistent fill volumes and appearance. A defoamer ensures:

  • Accurate, repeatable fill levels
  • Improved visual quality
  • More consistent packaging
5. Energy & Cost Savings

Without foam control, processors often compensate by:

  • Lowering filling temperatures
  • Slowing down production lines
Defoamers allow:
  • Higher filling temperatures
  • Reduced cooling demand
  • Lower energy consumption and operating costs
6. Elimination of Chemical Additives

Mechanical or ultrasonic defoamers remove foam without chemicals, preserving:

  • Product integrity
  • Taste and composition
  • Clean-label requirements
7. Faster Return on Investment (ROI)

By combining:

  • Increased throughput
  • Reduced waste
  • Lower energy costs
  • Fewer rejects
Defoamers typically deliver ROI in weeks to months, not years.
